Classes will meet daily to rehearse musical performances as an ensemble and to enhance their individual playing skills. The goals of the curricular band program are to enrich students' awareness of music in our culture, cultivate an appreciation for the rich history of musical performance worldwide, and teach students to excel both individually and as part of a group.

The following band classes are offered for the 2026-27 school year:

Fall 2026

Marching Band - anticipated to be 3rd block

1. 1. Novice

   2. Intermediate

   3. Proficient Honors

   4. Advanced Honors

Competitive marching band focused on musical and visual excellence, with performances at football games, competitions, parades, and community events that promote school spirit and community engagement.

Color Guard & Percussion - anticipated to be 4th block

Marching band course focusing on color guard skills and percussion technique and performance.

Spring 2027

Concert Band - Novice

Wind and percussion students with prior band experience.

Concert Band - Proficient/Advanced Honors "Wind Ensemble"

Audition-based ensemble for advanced wind and percussion students.

AP Music Theory (even years)

Beginning Instrumentalists (odd years)

Beginning band for any student (9th, 10th, 11th) who is brand new to playing an instrument.
