ECU Music Events

Student Services from the ECU School of Music reached out to put a couple of ECU events on your radar.

• Student for a Day – Monday, September 21st. Intended for juniors & seniors who might be thinking about majoring in music, or who want to keep playing music at the collegiate level. Registration is free. Learn more here: https://music.ecu.edu/winds-and-percussion-student-for-a-day/

• ECU Band Day – Friday, November 6th. Intended for any high school marching band student who’d like to experience a gameday with the ECU Marching Pirates. Registration and ticket price are TBD. Learn more here (still 2025 information): https://marchingpirates.org/ecu-band-day/

NightBEAT DCI Trip (July 26) 

Information will be sent home later this week! I reserved some pretty good seats for us, so get excited!!

• Student cost: $80

• Chaperone cost: $60 

• Due by June 10th: Permission form + payment

Tentative Schedule:

• Meet at school: 12:00–1:00 PM

• Depart: 1:00 PM

• Location: Winston-Salem (all-day event)

• Return: ~10:00–11:00 PM
